One year after the events of Batman Begins (2008), Batman, Lieutenant James Gordon, and District Attorney Harvey Dent plan to launch an attack on the mob by arresting the shady accountant of the mob, Lau. Lau is abducted from his building by Batman and is thrown into jail. Lau divulges the secrets which results in almost all the mob bosses thrown in jail. The desperate mob bosses turn to The Joker, a sadistic psychopath with green hair, completely yellow teeth, and a custom purple suit. The Joker kills a judge, the Police Commissioner, and tries to kill the Mayor and Harvey. The acts of The Joker produces anarchy and chaos in the people of Gotham, forcing Batman to come to terms to which may seem to be his greatest test to fight injustice and come closer to the fine line between hero and vigilante. Probably because I've never expected Batman to be so realistic and dark.
For over 8 years i've watched this film at least 50 times and i never get bored of it. in fact, each time just gets better and i even realize some new noticeable topics when i watch it again.
This movie is about a hero and a villain going head-to-head with full of intense atmosphere. With great acting. Great dialogue. Great story. Great soundtrack. everything is just great. Not one boring scene.
Film opens with an intense bank robbery scene with a twist that gives u a good atmosphere for the entire film.
The Joker is the most memorable character in film history thanks to Nolan and Ledgers performance. in fact, it's the best performance of all time in any movie to date by Heath Ledger. Nolan and Ledger created an extraordinary character. A real psychopath. Christian Bale is the best batman and will always be and even if his voice is abit of annoying, don't rate it down because of that. It's just realistic.
Thought provoking and film making at it's best by all crew.
A modern classic and will forever be remembered.
Words just cannot describe the greatness of this movie. Just watch it.
IGNORE the dislikers. They obviously don't know what is a REAL movie.
